In KPop Demon Hunters, we learn early on in the movie who Rumi’s Mom is, but what about her Demon Dad? ‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐ *Credits:* Writers: Forrest Lee & Brett Turley Editor: AbsolutePixel Sound Designer: Yosi Berman ‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐ #KPopDemonHunters #KPopDemonHuntersNetflix #KPDH #Huntrix #SajaBoys #KPop #Rumi #Jinu #Netflix

I personally don’t think her father is gonna be any character we already know. That being said original story boards are not evidence if they ended up having nothing to do with the film
Sorry in advance for my Korean pronunciation, I had some trouble with What it Sounds Like! ~ Lee
Amount of Puns in This is Diabolical
Made the demon's soda pop. I am dying. :D
“Her mom made a demon soda pop” is DIABOLICAL😭✌️
Rumi, Who’s your daddy? Thank god it’s Film theory and not some other channels that I’ve seen
My head canon is that Bobby is the dad who stepped up (granted the “kids” are in their early 20s)
I know fans like the idea of Gwi-Ma being Rumi’s Dad, but even in the Movie he even says He’s not her Dad, just that he couldn’t control her, and that she felt ‘familiar’. In Korean folk Lore there are actually several ‘Demon Kings’ each ruling their own ‘space’. Gwi-Ma is the fictional King of Demons but took inspiration from an actual Demon King, one that embodies Chaos and Discord. My theory and Thoughts are that Rumi’s Father is another one of the Demon Kings, likely Yama, the Demon King who controls the realm of Balance and Order. Gwi-Ma can also only control demons he’s made, not demons bound to another King or realm. Another theory I have is that Rumi is a full decedent in an unbroken line of women from the first trio of Hunters, and was possibly the reason the Honmon resounded like it did to her.
never thought i'd see a film theory on kpop demon hunters but here we are 😭🙏
The explanation to Gwi-ma not being able to control Rumi without her being his daughter could be due to the fact that she was born a demon, unlike Jinu, "oh but what about the other demons?", I was rewatching the movie for some answers to other questions when I noticed right in the beginning, that right after Gwi-ma consumes souls, demons pop into existence, so there's two ways that demons are made, first is a deal with Gwi-ma, and second, having your soul taken, but Rumi is a third option that no one new about before, but a sequel could show a small group of other demon hybrids because there's no way that Rumi is the only one in a world where demons can look like Jinu
"Might point to this idea being done done done" amazing line✨️🔥🔥
I've been wondering when film theory would cover kpdh, thanks lee!
I’m confused on why a Demon Hunter would hook up with a Demon but I guess that’s what fanfic is for
Are you cooking up a long format video about this franchise?
The small eye movement at the beginning.😂
I love the little puns ❤
No guys it’s obviously muzan from demon slayer (joke btw)
REALLY hoping we get the answer in the sequel
This was so popping good that he said pop so many popping times than I can count all the pops this isn't how's done done done but it is pure golden tier comment.
Likely one of the guys in the intro wearing the same robes as the boys in Your Idol and that hat. They were never confirmed to be the Saja boys, and one of them is likely it. Who knows who, they seemed to be generals of some kind for Gwi-Ma.
