Film Theory: Bluey is a WITCH?!

I'd never have thought in a million years that MatPat, one of the giants of the internet, would make one of his last 9 theories on Bluey, and Bluey being a witch of all things.

the show is always conveyed from the perspective of the kids so for them, their playing and everyone’s participation really is ‘magic’ to them

My thoughts on this: Considering that we've seen multiple glimpses of the future versions of Bluey, Bingo, Rusty, and many other characters, I've always felt that this series could in fact be a perpetual flashback, much like "How I Met Your Mother." What we're seeing in these episodes are not 100% factual events, but rather just how Bluey remembers them happening from when she was 7 years old. In her young memory, she believed that these magic moments actually happened, so we are seeing them from her perspective as if they did. In reality, her parents were always still super catering and accommodating to her and Bingo's imaginations, but a lot of the questionable moments are simply just Bluey remembering it wrong.

Has anyone realized that bluey seems to have abnormal strength sometimes she seems to pick kids her size or bigger up with ease and carry them around like they’re toys and seems to never be tired or worn out when she does?

Pat is, without a doubt, the most chill neighbour you could ever hope to have, whether he's being attacked by imaginary animals, having his hat made heavy, or having his pie ripped out of his hands and all the sauce licked off it while he's walking down the street just minding his own business, he takes it in stride. Not just that, he's happy to help tear up a couple tree stumps, with his only retribution seemingly being his palm tree dropping branches in the Heeler's yard.

MatPat's really been pumping out a load of theories lately. And that just reminds me that soon it won't be him in these theories anymore

I think the whole show isn’t Bluey happening in the present but the childhood the kids remember. It seems magical to them just as our childhoods seem to us. There are also multiple points in the show where the kids are either shown as grown adults or teenagers or the parents are recalling a memory. It’s not that there is magic it’s that the children recall their childhood experiences in these creative, fun, magical ways.

Its very interesting how a childrens show intruiged many adults around the world The creators really catered to adult viewers in the sense of comedy. Its actually pretty funny. Love you MatPat. We're all going to miss you

Id like to think that lucky's dad and wendy understand the shenanigans that the heelers play because they have children of their own, and with the children often playing together and them being neighbors who witness these games, they often join in understanding the importance of playing for children. Daddy drop off's message was literally "playing with your kids could affect them positively for their entire lives" Edit: what ever happened to calm discussion of a mutually liked topic? The whole point of this channel is dedicated to talking about and speculating on our favorite mediums. I have reported and deleted the hate comments, and i will do it again, please be repectful, we can talk about the theory without being hateful or trying to say we are better than matpat. Its just a theory

Even though I may not watch matpat much, I still love his theories wherever I come across them. I love all the effort that is put into these videos, and you will forever have a place in our hearts! Thank you for all the years and effort you've put into these theories! ❤

Having this be one of MatPat’s last theories is probably one of the most iconic moments of YouTube

Their is a giant thing you missed which is a HUGE theory in the community of Bluey. In the episode magic you talked about how mom can do magic, why, well there’s a reason for this. Mom, specifically her side of the family is related to fairies, we learn in the show that there is two types of magic, cheeky and good. The fairies are also described with, “cheeky or good” magic. Part of this theory is also that Mum is secretly a peace keeper in the world, and must pass her magic on to her kids. Also someone you didn’t put in the episode is Calypso. Calypso is said to be a very wise magic user and that is why she is so smart and in some episodes tells the future. I hope you look at this please

I just like that they played the scene where Bingo tries to featherwand the cereal, and Bandit is oblivious and it takes three "HEAVY"s for Bandit to drop the cereal. Like it perfectly displays that they don't always go along with the game right away

I like that despite being comfortable playing with his kids and involving the neighbors he knows, Bandit is still nervous to play like that in front of dads that he doesn't know well
