At 4:40, only Stranger Things 4 used the clock to represent Vecna, not "throughout the rest of the series." The Duffers clearly had not created Vecna until after Stranger Things 3, and Stranger Things 5 completely dropped that leitmotif altogether, which also made no sense and suggests that the Duffers no longer cared and didn't know what they were doing.
