Prehistoric Emergence is a brand new analog horror that I’ve seen popping up ALL over my feed so I knew I had to cover it! And one thing I can say for sure, is that if the dinosaurs were to come back we would have no shot at surviving the experience… ‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐ *Credits:* Writers: Forrest Lee, Jessica Tocci Editors: Alex "Sedge" Sedgwick, Koen Verhagen, Danial "BanditRants" Keristoufi Sound Designer: Yosi Berman, Alena Lecorchick ‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐ Need Royalty Free Music for your Content? "What would you do if you came face to face with a dinosaur" Idk, die I guess?
They actually had a poll a while ago asking the community if they wanted a remake of the AI stuff with the human artists, so yea, they are going down the path of human art
2:20 If im gonna support anything WITH generative ai, then its best to support ones who are honest about it. Then later shift to human artists.
Never thought I would see a film theory video about dinosaur analog horror but I’m here for it.
As an artist I was a bit skeptical with the ai, but I'm glad that the creator did eventually build up a human team to make the art
until recently my favourite dinosaurus was Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus but now since it was described a few days ago Spinosaurus Mirabilis stole my heart

Honestly? I’m glad the guy gave credit TO the AI. As many people before me have said, the primary issues with AI “art” is when people claim they made it themselves. This guy? They outright said “yea, I didn’t make the images” AND they then went on to hire actual animators. This is, in my opinion, an acceptable use of the stuff. It was only used for a fraction of the project, and the appropriate credit was given. Good on ‘em.
I find it cool how they went form generating this stuff to actually having people do it as well as they help do it
I have a theory suggestion but I don't think you will find this comment but I'd say it anyway. I want you to cover up "wifies - searching for the world that doesn't exist" Minecraft ARG.
13:35 “Quetzalcoatlus it’s a lizard that’s a plane bro” and “named for the great snake god of the Aztecs”
Friendly reminder that predators cannot afford to be injured and will likely retreat when harmed, so a long stick is your best bet. Also, spinosaurus.
17:45 Diseases have an extremely hard time crossing species, even species extremely similar to us such as pigs rarely pass on diseases to us, even with us very regularly interacting with them. Another thing to consider is just how volatile and aggressive the human immune system is and has become over the last few thousand years. Around ten percent of the world’s population suffers from autoimmune diseases, one theory as to why this happens is because our immune systems adapted to medieval conditions, and aren’t being constantly filled down anymore.
Dilophosaurus, easily. (And I mean the real dilophosaurus, not the Jurrasic Park version with the poison and the frills) But it doesn't need that, it's cool enough as it is. Cool head crests, theropod anatomy, and Jurrasic park really undersized this thing, it was bigger than a human irl. Dilophosaurus, underrated classic!
0:16 isn't there a whole theory on why you would survive?
My favorite dino is the therizinosaurus
Did not expect Paleo Horror to be talked about here, glad to see it though
18:08 there was actually a man who caught the bubonic plague and easily had it treated with modern medicine, so it wouldn’t be as deadly as you’re thinking
17:28 TB is also something that can affect modern elephants. We regularly test Elephants for TB through a “trunk wash” behavior in every zoo because it can be really devastating. TB can also infect non human primates.
In the spirit of a channel based on nerdy over-analysis: oil doesn't come from dinosaurs. Oil was formed from vast layers of prehistoric algae and plankton that piled up over millions of years before there was anything to predate them.
