13:43 Just a heads up. The subtitles are wrong here. Kei isn't talking about someone Kiyotaka mentioned. Subs should be: "About that thing you told me about, right?". Next line is also wrong. CR Subs: "They're writing down everyone they've interacted with on their tablet." ❌ It should be: " *I'm* writing down everyone *I've* interacted with on *my* tablet, just to be sure." ✅ Kiyotaka only adviced Kei to look out for everybody that made contact with her, that's what this scene should imply.

So this is Ike's story which surprise surprise the anime S2 completely skipped. About why Ike and Shinohara are in love. Apparently this development takes time and develops slowly. 1st encounter Koji in a convenient store spots Shinohara surrounded by senior students. She has a foul mouth so she ended up picking a fight and she got scared once they surrounded her. Ike stood up and saved her there. They became friends and started noticing each other. Later on when Yamauchi the blackroom goat heard rumours in Ichinose arc remember Shinohara got rumours that she is apparently a prostitute. Yamauchi took advantage and made fun of her but Ike got mad in anime and defended her. Since the previous story was skipped anime only folks never paid attention to him stepping up for her publicly in class. Even when in s3 ep 13 Kiyotaka took Hiyori on a date to make Kei jealous they spotted Ike and Shinohara hiding from others and sneaking on a date together. Which the anime also skipped. So yeah this S4 narrative on ike's love life should have made perfect sense if anime previous arcs did not skip the build up to it. Making it feel sudden.
