Naruto is one of rare shows for me that I prefer dub over sub. 98% of other anime I like subs but I think translation does make it easier to understand for native speakers and some lines are pretty great. I believe Gaara calls Guy a mother hen which I think is a lot funnier than back seat driver. Funny enough though Naruto shippuden I think they do much better in subs as the voice acting sounds like they got a lot more mature and serious, while dubs mostly sound the same quality.
this is spoilers but not really later in the story garaa gets put in a genjutsu of his "perfect" life and in it he meets naruto when he was a kid. so cute
