SOMOLU LG CREATES AWARENESS, FACILITATES MEDICAL OUTREACH

In commemoration of World Tuberculosis Day and as part of efforts to strengthen community awareness in the fight against tuberculosis, the leadership of Somolu Local Government organized a sensitization campaign alongside a comprehensive medical outreach for residents. Council officials, health workers, and community representatives marched from the council secretariat to various communities within the municipality, distributing informative flyers on tuberculosis, its prevention, and available treatment options. They also educated residents on the symptoms of tuberculosis and how it can be effectively managed.
