Rise & Thrive's Awareness Campaign for Child Exploitation

On 21st March 2026, I joined Rise and Thrive to help come together not just to run but to stand side by side for something bigger than ourselves. Child Exploitation Awareness Day (18th March) is a reminder that safeguarding young people is everyone’s responsibility. Families, youth services, schools, local organisations, volunteers, partners and residents. It takes a whole community to create safety, opportunity and protection for children. The 5K at Hanworth Park is about showing young people that they are seen, valued and supported. It’s about raising awareness, starting conversations and strengthening the network around them.
