Its very surprising that this video isnt off the walls popular and has 1M or at least 1K likes or smth!
For such a sad topic, the artstyle is really cute.
My mom is yelling at me regularly 'cause I lost interest in my hobbies and many things But I don't blame her, she has no idea what to do to help me
I'm 21, and this video helped honestly, it can be easy to ignore the signs of depression and just assume the world is bad, or something is just wrong inside you Show love to yourself, and talk to someone, be it a counselor, a parent, a partner, a friend, even just an operator at a hotline You arent alone
Love the emphasis on “may” because it’s different for everyone
I don’t know I was told it’s normal to be sad more often than not with my life experiences. I don’t want to get medicated or something.
I take meds for it, I had a bad spot where I hurt myself, please don't do this to urself don't bottle up until you can't take it anymore
I started feeling sad constantly when I was like really young probably around 5 or 7, and I started to feel suicidal at least by 12, around that time I started to do things to harm myself such as playing with cats JUST to have them scratch me so I can feel/see the wound, I started doing that but with other things such as a knife when I was around 13-14-15, my mother walked in on me doing that when I was 14, and she acted like she cared until she started to blame me or the friends I was surrounded by (they where honestly helping me through everything, without them I would be dead by now ngl) she never took the time to actually help me through it, she just threatened to take things away that I enjoy just to scare me out of it. My father asked if I wanted to go to therapy or to a counselor, I agreed but he never took me to one. Even after an adult finds out, it’s quite hard to be sure that they will be supportive. I attempted around 14 or 13, I started to understand life in a different way because of a really good friend of mine, me and him are dating now and my life has been getting a lot better and I really couldn’t be this way if it wasn’t for him and his support. I am still sad often, I do still feel like doing things such as sh, but I haven’t felt suicidal for at least 11 months now. It’s almost been a year. For people who may be going through these thoughts or feelings, things will get better, even if it feels like things are getting worse, there will always be a WAY better time for you in a near future, things may last years but never give up, you are worth it, you are loved, you will always be supported by someone. Maybe someone you already know will help, maybe someone new you meet will, regardless of your situation just do your best to keep going on, try to surround yourself with people who aren’t constantly talking about depressing things or making things ONLy about them. You’re worth a lot more than that, I hope things keep going well for you even if it’s just little things.
