If you have high anxiety, I recommend you not to drink coffee (especially not directy after you woke up). This triggers anxiety, because much coffee causes high cortisol...and take magnesium before you go to sleep. Best wishes❀

Definitely see a dr. If your anxiety is affecting your life on a daily basis, please be seen for it. I suffered for so many years that I did not have to.

Put a hair catcher in the shower drain- there are stainless steel basket ones at Dollarama. I’ve been using them for years in the shower and sink drain.

I used to have social anxiety from being bullied for most of my school years. It got so bad I was homeschooled for a year. I hated being in public and talking to others. I was friendless and felt very lonely. In my early 20’s I realized that my past already took a lot from me and I didn’t want it to take any more. I practiced the motto, β€œFake it til you make it”. I used every opportunity possible to have social interactions with others even when it was outside my comfort zone. Sometimes I succeeded and sometimes I failed. I’m now 36 and am married with a child. I have no social anxiety at all and I’m not medicated or in therapy. My friends and coworkers can’t believe I even had social anxiety when I tell them my past. I will talk to anyone in public who seems friendly and like they want to talk. If someone acts distant or gives me a weird look I take no offense to it and assume they struggle with social interactions. After all I used to be that person!

Whenever I have an anxiety attack I always say out loud five things I can see and five things I can hear and touch. Along with meds.

Whenever I go through a stressful time. I lose hair. My Dr. suggested increasing the amount of protein I eat: eggs, cottage cheese, yogurt, beans and rice, fish. It helped a lot. My hair stopped falling out.

I brush my hair outside every morning. This removes both loose hairs and dust. When you think about it, dust is falling on our hair 24/7, even while we sleep! Since I started doing this my bathroom floor has been cleaner and my drain never clogs. I also use one of those mesh grills that catches hair over my drain. Great video πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›

It wouldnt be a bad idea to get some bloodwork done to see how your iron and thryroid are because both of those can cause hair loss and more anxiety if your levels are off. I have had anxiety my whole life and sometimes too much caffeine can cause it to be worse. I also lose more hair with low iron. I hope your anxiety gets better because I know how awful of a feeling it is especially when it’s constant🩷

As a fellow anxiety sufferer...I finally admitted I needed to be medicated & that I couldn't keep lying to myself that I could just push through it on my own. And let me tell you what a world of difference it has made!! I still feel like me, Im not numb to the world like I was worried Id be...the only difference is now I dont feel like Im on the cusp of dying & the world is caving in around me. I jus wish I had gotten over the shame of taking medication & started sooner...I could of avoided the health issues that being in constant fight or flight mode for years & years has unfortunately brought me.

I have severe anxiety too. I take collagen for the hair loss. That has helped.

The most peaceful calm feeling. Snuggling up with a dog or kitty. They will take it all away..

I can relate with the stress/anxiety related hair loss. I had it happen to me around 10 years ago during a really hard time in my life. I did see my doctor about it and I recommend you do too (if you want ❀). Stress/anxiety can manifest itself in weird ways with our bodies. Wishing you the best ❀

Caffeine really exacerbates my anxiety. I’ve had to drastically decrease my iced coffee intake.

I have suffered from anxiety since I was young but was always ignored by doctors. Until last year I had an episode after dealing with toxic family and finally found a psychiatrist who diagnosed me properly. I have been taking medication (just one - lowest dose) and when I say it was life changing that’s an understatement. I can’t believe I suffered for so long. Everyone is different but medication saved me. Sending hugs from Colombia. 😊

Hair loss is also related to iron deficiency! Iron deficiency can also worsen anxiety too. Ask your doctor about checking your ferritin level. 😊

πŸ‘‹πŸ» Hi I came across your channel today, I swear I really thought I was the only person on earth to be completely alone, no family, no husband, and I used to have friends until my anxiety got so bad I would find excuses not to do anything with anyone anymore, and we just drifted apart, it's extremely hard to suffer with anxiety and want anyone to come into our world, so to speak, because yes, we are alone, but not lonely, I don't think people that don't struggle with it could never understand in a million years, I know there have been times I went out against my better judgment, and ended up having a panic attack.. Although I'm sorry you struggle with it, I am kind of relieved that I'm not the only one, I do say at times I feel like a freak of nature, like I just wasn't supposed to be here. Deep, I know.. But I hate going to the Doctor, and it is not as cut and dry as people say, "oh, go see a Doctor", do you know how many Doctor's a person that struggles goes through before maybe finding some common ground? It is exhausting! I do go once a month just for medication management. Well have a good day, and nice to meet you πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ˜‡

When my anxiety is really bad I find the simple act of giving myself a hug to be super helpful. It might sound silly but I swear by it, it’s very soothing and grounding, and it helps me get out of my head back into my body. Especially as a single girly because no one else is around to give me a hug haha πŸ˜…
