I lived in Eugene Oregon (in Willamette Valley) for 6 years, and they have an Oregon Trail museum there. It was crazy to think that where I lived was where all those people struggled and died trying to get to. It cost us a couple hundred bucks in 2007 and an uncomfortable 3-day Greyhound Bus ride from Fayetteville Arkansas to Eugene Oregon. Nobody died of dysentery that I know of.
