The object was found and it was a Coconut Tree. Other items were found on Nikumaroro Island, including a woman's skull, woman's clothes, and items that were likely from the 1930s. Including a UCA vile from the area where Amelia lived. But, no direct evidence she landed there.

Yeah, they have to go check that out. It would be great.
