You've reached the end
"How did you learn to do those things?" " I was Poor."
I resurfaced brake rotors on a tire machine with a grinder. Came out surprisingly mint.
"Jesus take the brakes"
Yes but in gear lol
grinding the lip down😭
Nope. Never have i used a grinder to take off the lip of a disc so i could keep using it.
Saving a few $$$😊
I ain’t gonna pay no $12 for resurfacing
Some pads are beveled on the ends of the pad, which does make full contact with the rotor and will cause this lip to form.
I call shenanigans
It’s almost the end of the month can’t wait for the next episode on Hagerty
Riding on vinyls 😂😂😂
He almost got it right. I start the engine and put it in gear, then grind the spinning disk. It works great for taking off the high grooves. Done it many times.
5 minutes before buyer comes 😂😂😂, 100km after maintenance, new rotors and more than half of the pads😂
Taking the rust ridge down so the pads dont rub and make noise... i do this with a hammer and carbide scrapers... some people dont have the money for perfection
Quick brake job 😂
i have has my rotors turned but this is nuts
The rust ridge (inner dia and outer dia) can cause squeaking. Even if the pads are plenty thick.
I did this, the other day works perfect
Minimum thickness is just a recommendation
