Best bait into knowledge. Love this. I'd love to learn more from your experience.
This is like a conference talk or video resume. It’s great to hear from builders in the wild and inspiring for others
Claude: Make atlassian architecture from scratch. No mistakes
So incrediable. I am not in this field, but still amazed by the amount of knowledge in this video. I am so curious about how to learn so many things and keep the enthusiasm.
More power to you brother … thanks for sharing this
Thanks for doing this - we're blessed with ur insights here
As the intern in question, I gotta jump in. Vas, you're an exceptional mentor, and the very questions you ask yourself at the end are actually big contributors to what made the whole thing work. You gave me space to actually build. And if I hit an area where you weren't a subject expert, you wouldn't shy away from that. Watching someone you regard as brilliant openly accept a lack of domain knowledge is impressive. Directness and humility are among your strongest traits. And to me, that is the first hallmark of any ideal mentor.
Always nice to hear a well spoken and honourable person, who is also an expert
not sure what i saw but i watched it all and felt i needed to see it...
It was a very informative and productive 40 minutes of my day! Looking forward to hearing from you more about more interesting stuff and architecture!
You got me! You're a good engineer and I'd like to see some deep traffic engineering system design solutions from you. It's a niche topic and looks like you've got the experience to tackle it. Looking forward for it.
Love this! Keep doing it. And I wish you good luck with your next plans and projects.
Atlassian dropped the ball so hard letting this guy go. Talent like this is not easy to come by.
Having suffered immeasurably from the use of atlassian's products, I am not disappointed to hear that atlassian works on the inside exactly as I imagined, both on a technical and "political"-organizational level.
Life is interesting. A guy like this got laid off, while a noob like me is still employed. I learned so much from this video. Subscribed!
Thanks a lot for this, very geniuine and honest. Keep it up! Eager to hear more about mistakes and learnings!
I'm soo glad this vid popped up on my recommendations, it was super interesting to hear all your experiences. The way you articulate things makes it soo easy to listen to, I hope you make more podcasty videos like this in the future!
Solid! Learning and growing, good luck on your next chapter! Always remember, when something bad happens, something good simultaneously happens, its our job to find it!!
This is a well crafted advertisement for this guy, he's using it to pitch himself. He is literally practising his interview answers.
