Adam the most helpful thing I learned in trauma therapy from my own pretty f ucked childhood trauma was: you are no longer the child victim. The danger is in the past and they can’t hurt you now the way that they did then. You are safe now here as an adult. The feelings of unsafety that you feel are from a childhood part of you that is wounded so adult you will be able to do whatever they need to to care for that part of you that was hurt. ❤ I hope that is helpful mucker

Adam, I think you would get a lot of use out of a slow cooker if you bought one. You could just throw a bunch of stuff in it and leave it going while you go about your day, and your food would be ready at night. You could cook roasts in it and everything.

Through therapy, a feeling of indifference toward those horrible people is the ultimate punch in the face to them. The lack of control they have over you would cause endless turmoil in their lives. Give yourself the grace to discover indifference

I watched Peters reaction to your video. As a victim of grooming too, I can give my perspective. I resonate with the PTSD you're feeling. But if it helps, the muckers at vidcon will keep you safe. The other creators will keep you safe. I feel like you should go so that she can see you arent standing alone. I think you should go so she can see how far you've come without her. She wants you to not go. I think you should. So you can show her you were a content creator before her, during her and after. She didn't take your community from you. You grew your community through your hardwork, integrity and grit. Don't let her steal this from you, too. You worked too damn hard for it. And don't forget, she wasnt invited. You were. She has no community. You do. She's a laughing stock. You're not little adam anymore. You kept him safe and advocated for him back then and now and you can still do that for yourself in any room she walks in. Like Peter said, hold your head up high, you earnt this

My cat passed away in the very early morning of yesterday after 16 years together. So it's rough right now. I wish I could reach through the screen and hold Woody for a little bit. As for vidcon I hope you still go. You have grown strong and made a career that earned you going to vidcon. It's been a dream of yours. Nobody gets to take that from you. We are so proud of you!!

The frustration with trying to retain new language rules and words is SO REAL, I learned Spanish in college and it was so stressful at times. Hang in there Adam!

Language learning is hard! Your teacher does not care how long it takes you, that’s what they’re there for. They expect it to be hard! (And your teacher probably also struggled with learning English, they’ve been there.) The important thing is that you keep trying and you’re working hard. That’s super admirable! I also have a ton of memory issues because of chronic illness, and I still struggle with my second language after many years. I like to remind myself that no one CHOOSES to have memory issues or struggle with anything. It’s not your fault, and it just means a bit more repetition and effort. You’ll get there, you’re doing great keeping up with it. :)
