Thoralf oracled too close to the sun
I love how we got an actual Thoralf curse out of this! Every grand final has been a banger, and this was no different!

Dude I felt that “F==K!” in the last game. What a fun series.
If I had a nickel everytime Thoralf ends up in a bad spot in a best series deck finals for giving away information he absolutely didn't need to, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice (he revealed his hand to Carl in the Miracles vs Lands Legacy finals)
Pitching the force was a mistake
That last game was amazing. "Best non-attack in history" - the look on Throalf's face when he realized that was amazing.
I think it's no coincidence these two meet in the final, no matter their deck

Why did Thoralf force pitching force instead of pitching preordain to keep an extra force?
You are the guys who can make Vintage and turn 1 wins entertaining. I would never play this myself. Also, I love when you focus on high level 1v1 Magic, as it seems a dying niche. Thanks a lot for the series! Simon is also great, hope to see him as a guest again.
This was beautiful. It really exemplifies how, at the highest ends of skill, a single piece of information can be the deciding factor between victory and defeat. Not even a single card in hand. Just paying attention at the right time and understanding what that little piece of unnecessarily shared information meant. Because that's the best part of this... Thoralf did not have to reveal that Thoracle from the bottom of his deck at that time. He was styling... and in the end, it cost him the match.
This was like when in a heist movie the villain tells his perfect masterplan, and the hero shows how will it fail.

That was a beautiful finale. Somebody winning based on knowledge and understanding of the game instead of drawing the best hand. Vintage rarely gets plays like this. I cried a little
