Longmire to my ears wants the job, just not yet willing to outright say so, in saying that as a Blues fan, im hoping for James Kelly or one of the other highly rated untried coaches

Have a look at Marty Mattner who’s currently coaching Sturt in the SANFL with 3 premierships in 2 stints plus a distinguished playing career at the Swans. He’s solid.
I have never loathed football and the media behind it like never before in my 50yrs of following this game that has gone downhill. These 2 ex coaches were asked a simple yes/no question about coaching the blues or in general and they continually come out with all the crap statements. You are either still interested in coaching or you are not. Its as simple as that. Why do they have to convolute everything. Simpson saying, I dont know, I dont know. You are either still interested in coaching or not.
Forget these two! Get someone like, Skipworth!

Gerard Whateley is a Fwitt. and a W⚓. He keeps bragging about Vossy and defending him. If Vossy is so good for him he should get him to coach the AFL360 panel.

Of Longmire takes the job it could be similar to what Paul Roos did at Melbourne. Spend a couple of years rebuilding the list for the next 2 or 3 years for someone else to take over might work

2nd time coaches don’t work anymore it hasn’t worked for 16 years. Go for Kelly or Skipworth they’re probably the best your gonna get
