honestly ive never seen it happen where someone was actively trying to stack their team, sticks were always shuffled and just tossed aside quickly and we would even things up if needed

Of course. Playing at the out door rink in Minnesota was a common childhood occurrence and kids would always pick their friends sticks or just whoever the best players were.

A fun idea I used to do as a kid, we would make teams, then everyone would put there sticks in the center we would all rush to get a stick (can’t be your own) then we’d play a game with the stick we grabbed
