Completely true. I work for a doctors office scheduling new patients and we use AI to help schedule patients that call back. Every day we have to keep track of how many patients we scheduled. Yesterday I noticed half of the patients I had on my list had already been scheduled by AI, which is taking away from my numbers. I told my husband about it last night and he’s like you realize in a year you’re not gonna have a job. 😅 worst part is most of the time it gets it completely wrong and I can’t tell you how many elderly patients have told me that when they called back, they heard a robot talking to them and they’ve decided not to be seen by our practice because they don’t like it.
