Buried ancient texts in the foundation and every stud is inscribed with its words. Say anything other than bible, and suddenly you have the big reveal in a horror film.

The best protection is to read it each day.

Never thought of the Bible part but we’ve written scripture on the studs and door ways on every house I’ve built and walked though and prayed many times during the construction phase

I walked in a lady’s home years ago and commented how peaceful it felt - it really was a powerful sensation- and she told me she had placed rosaries and blessed holy medals in the foundation. Pretty cool.

On one hand, that's interesting. On the other hand, that's kinda superstitious handling of the Bible. I don't think God intended for us to use the Bible like a lucky charm like that. What if someone does this and something bad happens to the house, such as flood, fire, earthquake, termites, or even a financial disaster like a market crash or foreclosure? Would the Bible have failed? Will people have their faith eroded because they expected the Bible to ward off disaster only to have this effect not happen? Remember that God let many generations of Christians suffer martyrdom. Sometimes God lets bad things happen to his people for his purposes. Remember that Saul hauled the Ark of the Covenant into battle, trying to use God’s throne on earth as a lucky charm, and God let it be captured by the Philistines. (1 Samuel 4) God refused to let his throne be used as a lucky charm. Remember that the Jews retreated to the Temple during the siege of Jerusalem, thinking that they would be safe in the House of the Lord, but God let the Temple be destroyed down to its foundations. Why? Because God doesn’t work the way we think he does. He cares about our word being written on our hearts, but he does not respect any superstition that attempts to use his word or his name or his Ark as some form of protection.

Just had my house finished last year we did the exact same thing.. bible in the foundation and scripture on the studs...

As if the devil and his demons don't ever go inside church buildings. There are plenty of written Scripture all over inside those churches. Spiritual protection does not come from having Scripture written on the walls, studs or in the foundation of a building we are in, it comes from having the Word of God written and living in our hearts and having the Holy Spirit inside us and surrounding us. I pray you learn these things sooner than later.
