i ussualy dont mind rust. but gah damn. atleast give it a spray paint
Why not sort the rust out while everything was out and then seal it? you live in the UK it's gonna be dust within a year. Cool build
1M body kit next
Editing is on point from the get go, you're going up in the world with your team Jack, congrats 👍🏻
This is brilliant and nice to see a car channel doing different things with cars instead of fixing them
The opportunity you had to clean the underbody of that car and replace all bushes when the subframe was out… an absolute build for sure 👍
Not doing a rear main seal and some rust protection is bonkers with that much stuff out of the way.
Need an OEM gear shifter man
EKPS needs a 12V wake-up signal (Terminal 15) to communicate. If this signal is missing from the CAS/JBE, the module stays "dead" and won't show up on the bus, Since other modules can't see the EKPS, check the CAN-High and CAN-Low voltage at the EKPS plug. Should be around 2.6V / 2.4V, Measure the thick red/blue power wire at the EKPS connector while trying to prime. If it’s 0V, the issue is definitely upstream in the power distribution/JBE, Also ensure that the brown ground wire for the EKPS is properly bolted to the chassis bc that pump will want a great amount of current.
You put in so much work, why not replace the rear main seal? Asking just because it's gonna be a pain to do it later. 😅
Dips is a legend!
This looks like your easiest engine swap yet, pretty much plug and play 😂😂
The fact u put a manual in it is just 10/10
You Might want to under seal the car😅 A case termites eating away at hard work. Great upload. Excited to see the car fire up soon. Dips got this.
The videos have taken a massive jump forward, well done. Keep it up Jack!
So you have created the first ever 140ci?
Now this is wat i call a build and i know ur gonna put a mad exhaust on it haha i can not wait for this one 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Should of changed the main seal when you had flywheel off mate
52:43 bless him lol fully custom yeah?
The fact you have done a project and video like this without a massive mechanic crew and production crew is simply amazing. I've said before about how detailed you are and seeing everything you had to do in this video just to get the engine in was bonkers. You need more subs and more recognition for what your doing as the projects and videos are always top tier. Gutted couldn't hear that beautiful V8, which I agree is one of these best sounding BMW engines (even though I'm a E46 fan boy). But I'm sure once again it will be worth the wait. And if people moan about you not uploading regularly they simply don't understand the scale of these projects, let alone recording and editing it all. Keep it up man as I know you will be a goat of this type of stuff soon enough.
