You've reached the end
they want just money ... you give and go
Do you speak English βNoβ hahaha but, understanding and speaking is a big difference.
Just put a front plate on man, save yourself a lot of hassle and it's supposed to be there.
If you gonna pull out international convention then at least put on the front plate like the rule that you use for arguing. I swear a lot of America like to be βin America is like this and thatβ and if it doesnβt go in their way they will pull international law as last resource
Lmao a case of American main-character syndrome. Just because your homey statey allows a single rear plate doesn't mean the rest of the world has to guess who you are. In Russia (and other European and Asian countries), a missing front plate is a red flag for cops, meaning a fat fine or getting your car towed. If you ship a Lamborghini across the world, don't throw a fight when local police demand stacks of paperwork to prove your single-plate setup is legal. To them, the US is just another country, and they literally couldn't care less about your Beverly Hills or Montana registration rules.
having no front plate is illegal, they stopped you for a reason. nothing to do with geneva convention, everything to do with rules/laws if you have a vehicle on the road.

"In America you can smile on photos" - simple reminder why we're saying "ΡΠΎΡΡΠΈΡ Π΄Π»Ρ Π³ΡΡΡΡΠ½ΡΡ " hehe
As a Belgian citizen I have traveled for almost 2 years now, and visited Russia 5 times. From Lithuania to Georgia to Mongolia and crossed the country from noth to south. I drive in Crimea and was 2 km from the Ukrainen border. The Russian police are very correct. And yes, in the beginning they are hard and show who is the boss, but after they always being friendly. One funny anecdote, in the middle of a dessert a guy from police let me stop but didn't speak zero English and there was no internet. He ask straight for money. Of course i never give money. But his behavior was very strange. He lock his car and drove with me to a location with internet. He explained that his daughter study in Greece and he ask if i could change roebeles for euros. We changed a little and i give him 20β¬ extra znd he give me a plastic bottle of home made wine. And we changed phone numbers for if i need any help i could call him he said.
I would love to see you do that thru out Europe. Front plate required end of story!
nowhere in europe you can drive without a front plate, nowhere
In America you can smile on the photo. Also you can get killed by a cop if they feel like it.
money π° boss and go ... π
Same encounter in the US, you are tased at best, shot most likely.
I was thinking the Geneva convention was just about war crimes 'n shit.... Nope, It specifies only that a car must have a rear registration plate and a badge with the country of origin. Crazy.

One Russian cop that pulled me over told me that America never signed Geneva convention and made me switch with passenger.
