Please do a review on the Geely E2 and BYD Dolphin Surf which is now by far the best selling EV in South Africa. A comparison would be awesome.
1:15 I'm getting Tiguan vibes at the back and Honda something vibes at the front
Don't knock Suzuki.... I've had my Ignis 4 years with only oil changes. Meanwhile my neighbor had to sell his Chery Tiggo 4 after 2 years due to ongoing mechanical issues. Suzuki perhaps don't offer perceived luxury, but they do offer reliability and availability of spare parts....which the Chinese brands do not.
They should consider rebranding for the SA market!
Every time I see it from the back, I am reminded of the VW Tiguan
The thing with these Chinese cars is that they will give you short term satisfaction and long term expenses.
Good luck to all those Chinese car buyers. Five to seven years from now those will all be in the scrapyard worthless. Pay cheap now, cry later
another day, another chinese car 🥱
More of these Chinese cars please... Helps keep prices low
Not with my money even with 50% off in 4 years
0:22 Not about make it quick cos we wanna hear the price. Make it quick cos you very irritating 😅
If you had 8.3L per 100km on mostly urban driving I reckon on a long distance drive you can dip under 7L. So it actually seems like it is alright economy wise.
Why are fuel consumption figures going up, not down!? My 18 year old SLK200 gets 6 lit/100km. Manufacturers should try harder with undertrays, aero wheels, wheel deflectors, aerodynamic front end, rear wing etc.
No thanks. They can keep mine. If it was free i would have traded it asap
Ooooh that name isn’t going to fly here in South Africa
Great review! Real-world reliability will become clearer over the next 1-2 years.
Please share the quality of the sound system as it counts to some of us. If possible, which brand is fitted in the car. Keep up the good work!
CVTs require a different driving style to torque converter autos, dealers should educate customers on this. Maybe a video idea?
If the test car have built quality issues with only 2500km on the odo, how many rattles and squeaks would it have at 100 000km?
The front looks like the facelifted Ford Territory, while the back looks like the VW Tiguan. Not a bad looking car overall.
