I love this sport. The crowd, the players, referee..all so respectful. Imagine playing 18 vs 17 frames. What a marathon. Shaun has been a great competitor and what a sportmanship. Grew up watching Jimmy White, Dennis Taylor, Steve Davis...those were the days where we cut out newspaper clippings on how to side the cue ball, spins and tips to break...stances. What a gentleman game. Congratulations to Wu. Massive game.

Brilliant, well done woo, you excited us all throughout the championship, gave us a few heart attacks too during the sessions, lol, the best player I have seen since Ronnie glorious days, great your mum was there to see you triumph in style in that last frame, what a shot to the middle under pressure, enjoy world champ, had a tenner on you at start of tournament at 14 to 1 , tore my ticket in half twice, lol.
After all the disruptions that Wu yiza had to endure yesterday and today . So pleased he managed to cross the line with such composure and bottle . Many congratulations Wu and one of the most exciting players to come along since ronnie o Sullivan . Future is looking so bright.

Amazing final!!! Yize was absolutely incredible. The kid has nerves of steel! But Shaun was marvelous as well. He played excellent snooker throughout the tournament and he was such a gentleman in the end!
