Compared to my family’s powder coat shop that shit looks like ass man, we charge like $30 for something like this and it would come out so much cleaner we charge $8 a sq ft

Most guys that do powder coating at home use an old electric oven they keep in their garage. A torch heats the parts unevenly and doesn’t allow the heat to “soak” into the part the way an oven does.

Idk about other cities/states, but powder coating out here in LA is not really expensive at all and most do a good job.

How hot do calipers get under hard braking use? Can’t be 400 degrees like powder usually calls for to melt and lay out. Not sure I would go this route. Maybe just ceramic paint
