Sir Alex is one of the greatest psychologists in football. He knew Anderson did not have proper parents in his life and he gave him what he needed at United - a good father figure that protected him and guided him. Ferguson is the greatest manager in football history. May God protect his health for as long as possible! (from a Liverpool fan)

Anderson, when he was in the mood, was genuinely world class. He was inconsistent and had a lot of niggling injuries though.

Probably because he made ppl laugh. Sometimes you need a joker in the group who doesnโt cause trouble but lifts everyoneโs mood.

This guy was the absolute workhorse of 08/09. Kids today will never understand this guy was the original Kante.

Not many 19 yr olds owned Gerrard at Anfield. He did. He was fearless, had a good engine for a big lad and was a better footballer than he was given credit for.

He was such an unreal talent. It went to waste. His assist for Welbeck against Arsenal. His passing, strength, he would absolutely stand out in the current United side

Not sure if it was a language barrier or his sheer courage or mixture of both, he just performed and did what he was told without complaints. Solid player
