Not too long ago I discovered this band, and I've been in love with them since. Their music is so awesome! The one issue I always had though, was whenever I talked to my friends about this amazing band, most of them responded with "oh, that's the band that did the Laufey cover! Meh, its alright." Most people only know this band for the one cover they did; and futhermore they base the band on that one song, and havent even bothered listening to any of their other songs. I found this song purely by coincidence, Cicada got recommended to me the day it came out and i was instantly hooked with the band as a result; i only found the cover later on. My point is, it just frustrates me a little that most people tie this band to the one Laufey cover they did, which, yeah, maybe isnt their best song even if it is still good, but the part i dont like is that most people wont give the band a chance beyond that. I would love to have more people to talk to that have genuinely appreciated their original works more, because honestly this band has been such a big inspiration for me. And a good video too! Well done, i found it very engaging.

Good Kid is just… love. I can't really describe it, but every song feels like home. It warms my heart in a way that's hard to put into words, like being wrapped in something familiar, even on the hardest days. I have some of my best memories with a friend tied to their songs, and whenever I hear them, it all comes rushing back. It just feels so connected, so deeply human. And the concerts----- there's nothing quite like them. This feeling of standing in a crowd of complete strangers and somehow belonging to every single one of them is just something else entirely.
