Physicist here, I can explain this phenomenon. The number 8 ball initially experienced an upward Bernoulli-driven airflow through the tube, creating a localized low-pressure vortex. However, the number 12 ball subsequently entered the flow field, generating a higher-velocity wake that disrupted the primary ball’s trajectory via fluid dynamic interference. However the gravitational pull of the solar system which is Jesse’s mouth, pulled the number eight ball down allowing the Maple leafs to win the draft lottery.
Bruins went from potentially drafting 6th overall THIS YEAR while Pasternak is 30 years old to drafting potentially mid/late 1st round pick 3 drafts from now when Pasternak is 32 years old. If you think about the impact of that player and the window of Pasternaks career - the difference is HUGE.

With the gift of McKenna Now the leafs can focus on rebuilding the bluline,they do have cap room ,expendable goalies,the avs 1st round pick etc

They just need to pick Mckenna, then go out and try to sign Raddysh and/or Andersson from free agency. Boone Jenner would also be a good 3rd line center. And I believe Laughton said he wanted to sign back despite being traded.
