The Jomez comments all 6 videos were unanimously ecstatic about the Goose commentary. I've never seen them so positive about anything before. Well done. Aaron, it was a phenomenal debut.
The three of you have such amazing total recall of each hole on (seemingly) all courses. It is riveting to listen to your insights.
Question: It seems a lot of players struggle on course during bad play with the mental side. More so than just "oh dang!" Do you think mental fortitude is underplayed/undervalued? Like meditation, therapy, sports psychology, or other relaxation techniques, etc. are underutilized? It seems like talking about mental health still has a negative stigma surrounding it, so people are scared to be open about it. And do any of you partake in any similar practices? It just seems odd people will put so much time, countless hours, into physical or technical conditioning, but then lose a tournament on 1 or 2 really bad mental lapses or decisions during elevated moments of frustration. Sorry in advance for being so longwinded.
Proud fan. This is replacing a diff pod for me.
Goose’s Uli impression at 37:40 ish mark was spot on
Sofia Donnecke(Canadian) has a really strong case for Top 7 non European that wouldn't be able to play Pres Cup
Awesome pod this week! The different scenarios of landing spots was very intriguing, provisionals should be utilized more often
I 100% think on 4 day events there should be a cut in both fields.
No game this week 😢
Almost long enough
Aaron- amazing job on Jomez. I had the same thought you articulated about your experience while watching you on Jomez - that you would be amazing on live coverage. You are exceptional at orienting the viewer quickly to the hole, the situation, and the strategy, and there is a lot of value there. DGN should take note, there is often a coverage void in that regard.
You were great on coverage Goose and awkward moments are a norm with Big Jerm. You had them with him all the time.
The goose man was 10/10. ,the future of live disc golf Coming from 85761 and could have been in the 20ks more goose and maybe ez as a 3rd
Hmm I'm not sure about this whole "tour ratings" thing. I think Goose is just jelly that Anthony Anselmo, on paper, is better than him. 🤔😝
The doubles battle was the best one yet. Everyone should watch and Like! You guys were having a ton of Fun.
I've been loving the pod boys. Really liked Goose on the commentary too! I fell like Goose and Ulli would be hilarious together lol
Uli was so happy that the B9 got cancelled on TourLife. It was comical 😂
Ezra, you do bouldering or top rope mostly? I could see you absolutely shredding V6+’s and 5.11+’s
*I'm not the biggest fan of Bert Kreischer's comedy, but he is the golden ticket to make discgolf more known. He is the most famous person who actually plays discgolf. He is the only one who someone like Jomez, Innova, Discraft etc. could team up wirh to create content - where he invites his Hollywood pals for practise rounds.* *Imagine if he could get Joe Rogan, Santino, Bobbe Lee or even more mainstream guys to join in. It would get immediate virality, especially if they combine semi-serious play with comedy. Thoughts?* Who is more famous outside of the discgolf sphere? If you use this question in the pod, you'll have to make the wall of text shorter...😵😁
41:57 Cole said they weren’t told about the shortened round until hole 8. And judging by the rest of the card’s reaction, it seems like the whole lead card wasn’t aware
