My Dad was a Whalers season ticket holder. To this day he still talks about how much hartford loved that team. They move and for years didn't draw as well as they did in Hartford, now they have arguably the best team in the NHL and no one in Carolina cares. The owner got what he deserved. My Dad is now a die hard sabres fan, as am I. Let's go buffalo!
I can’t think of a season in recent history where at least one CB didn’t get injured or go down? It’s almost a certainty. However, I think Joe makes a legit argument, no knock on Elam, but it may have been wiser to add a better quality ILB with that 2nd pick.

As soon as hairston or benford goes down its not too early. I disagreed with Joe's dj moore eval as well as cb eval.
Who cares if he was a 1st round pic he is constantly hurt, do you just have a terrible secondary because your 1st round pick was a miss

The more depth the better ! Last yr Kair Elam was playing in the game vs Denver and was horrible ! Last several seasons depth has been a major concern with this team !
Just look at the broncos defensive line. The NT is only 305. Its about being quick and slashing
