The World Athletics Relays 2026 was one of my favorite events to watch. It was hosted in Africa at the Botswana National Stadium in Gaborone, Botswana. This is the first time the World Athletics Relays were hosted in Africa. There were many take-aways. First of all the people were disciplined, warm, vibrant, and respectful. The stadium was “jam packed”. The spectators cheered for every team represented. The stadium was beautiful, and top tier. There were no delays and their equipments;(starting blocks, starter gun, speakers and their false start detection system were on par). The stadium was lit, the Announcer was very interactive and lively, and the crowd was responsive. The medals were diamond-embedded you’ll. The commentators were unbiased. I like that there was repechage round, a 2nd opportunity to qualify. All in all I was entertained, and it was fun. Congrats to all the organizers and congrats to all the teams, job well done and thanks to Botswana for two exciting days of excellence. 🙏🏾

This Botswana 4x400m team can break the world record in Beijing 2027 or LA 2028. They have the talent and drive.

That Jamaican lady closing up the mixed 4x100m is a beast. And then here comes the Botswana 4x400m team absolutely determined and energetic. Kebinatshipi runs like a relaxed champion and he's indeed one

It took the Australians 42yrs to break their national record and then one day later they break it again!!! What a fantastic race. This could be the highlight race at the Commonwealth Games later in the year.

What a race what a race but Swanna you are the best you put on a great show in your country where Relay and you ended it with a bang the 4 x 4 hundred meter final that was amazing. Amazing all 25,000 people rise up in that stadium and shout for Botswana. I am so proud of Botswana. 🇧🇼 and I am at from that country. I’m Jamaican 🇯🇲 congratulation to my Jamaicans great job.
