Unironically, using dragon communion incantations with 60 arcane is the biggest secret in the game.
I always use Hand of Malenia to skip the way down to the Ancient Dragon-Man in the DLC.
That trick with Theodoryx Magma used to work with almost any spell on release now it's limited to just a few.

there is also still a way to wrong warp to Placidusax before reaching farum azula.....it happened to me accidently a few times.. and i never kept track of what exactly was necessary to make it happen...but i did show that it is possible and i streamed it on youtube..i use a PS 4..
