Ohtani: Shohei hit three home runs, so I was able to pitch with peace of mind. Shohei: Ohtani pitched well, so I was able to step up to the plate with peace of mind.
No one will ever remember years from now but Alex Vesia coming in and keeping those runners from crossing the plate was big.
