Ev grinding plays such a big part in nuzlockes,I can understand why people dont do it,because its tedious,though if given the option in randomizers,you should be able to raise a pokemon's evs without battling,so that it saves time,though it needs to be possible,like you cant get 252 sp atk evs if no pokemon on that route gives sp atk evs
