Yeah but I also want to say for anyone who is going through a friendship break up that you’re allowed to feel your feelings. If you’re feeling sad, angry, hurt, grief, or anything. Let yourself process your emotions. It’s okay. It doesn’t make you weak. You don’t have to girl boss through everything or forget that it happened. It did happen. You broke up with a friend to keep your peace but it’s completely normal to feel the storm inside you. I just want this serve this as a reminder it’s okay to not be okay ❤❤

Entering college actually made me lose a lot of my childhood friends and my best friend. Seeing this really helped me understand that losing friends is another step in our journey. Also SEASONAL was a perfect way of putting it. I had trouble describing how it felt.

I dropped my high school bff years ago. She was too self-absorbed and would only get in touch if she had problems. I decided I didn't need people like her. And yes, I'm glad I ditched her.

I've been through this and it is a shame because she was horrible to me and now I am hearing that she has done nothing but lie about me to save face. I wish I could share the full story but I don't really post content or have that kind of platform.

I agree, but this mentality needs to have checks and balances. I’ve seen it turn into a type of mentality of “I drop people as soon as I have no more use of them” or “I drop people the moment anything too real or too hard happens” Although some times you do have to cut people out, in the end your own personal happiness comes first. I’ve just seen it turn bad too many times lol.

Ayo I had a friendship breakup too and she was my friend for 4 years I was the toxic one in the beginning but when I started being a better person and tried to fix our bound it didn’t work out I blame myself but I started healing very much and I prioritised her and then she started acting toxic towards me and as I was wrong in the past she used to dug out the same past mistakes of mine so there was no point of me being better person so we cut off each other I really miss she was there with me at my lowest but I hope she finds a good friend circle and a female best friend who will treat her better ❤

In my case we were friends for eight years and one of my “friends” told her things about me that WERE NOT TRUE and she left me. My life is so much easier tho. I don’t have to worry about saying something on accident and upsetting either of them.
