Sounds like outgrowing a friendship. When you mature and others aren’t ready, that is what the conversation will sound like. They will think you’re trying to boss them around or you think you’re better than them. It just means it’s time to find friends that are on your level now. Everyone can’t come to the top with you. And the ones that refuse to level up end up resenting you and your advice. It’s best to leave them where they’re at and let them figure it out on their own.
I totally get the “walking on eggshells” thing. Had a “friend” in high school who would one day be all over me and not leave me alone, then the next wouldn’t even talk to me. It was so stressful and when you get older, it’s crazy how you question why you would ever entertain someone like that. The shit we put up with as kids, hell, even now in our early 20’s is crazy

I wish I had genuine true friends that loved me like this enough to try to help me with my issues without judgement or going around talking about me behind my back! I literally am this friend to everyone thinking that if I give love I'll receive it back, but instead I'm always taken advantage of. Stay away from "friends" like snarky! I've had one too many of them.
