Trio friendship made me realise that's it's better to stay alone than experiencing that emotional trauma again

For people who haven't been through this might think, its just a small thing, but the one who suffers with this knows how hurtful it feels to be left out from the people you never left...

as someone in a trio, you have to find people who equally enjoy spending time with all of you together. joining a duo will set you up for disappointment in the long run. (holy shit why did so many people see my stupid comment)

As an adult, it actually gets easier to stop overthinking, romanticizing, and dramaticizing friendships. I am saying this from my experience, but hanging out with people now that I'm older, no matter if there's two, three, four, or how many, it wouldn't matter and I'm just not thinking and being insecure about stuff like that anymore. And I'm saying this as a person who had difficulties making friends when I was young. So to the younger teens who are facing problems like this, I don't know any other advice to give other than "just wait, it'll get better."

I was in a trio we were doing well but one of us shifted her house very far and changed school. Tbh we were a great trio. We still talk on video calls and we even recently met together and had a lot of fun! Our trio will forever be iconic for us❤️

Fun fact: when I transferred to America at 10 there was a trio who invited me to be friends with them, I accepted and we were good friends but I realized there was this girl named Sarah who was always left out so I became a duo with her ❤

I had the nicest best friend at school for about 4 years, until a new girl transferred. I introduced the new girl to my bestie and we became a trio, for a while things were going well but then one day she and that new girl started ignoring me. I asked my bestie on why we aren't close anymore, she said 'i just don't like you anymore' it was easy for her to say that, but our sweet memories before that girl came, those memories make me cry.

I'm in a trio friend group rn, and trust me it hurts a lot.. You can't say anything directly at their face nor can you get out of the group.. You feel trapped.. And it's hurts more when you know you're their puppet just for studies as they contact you only for assignments and during exams they treat you like a queen.. I hate it.. Can't wait for the exams to get over, so that I would separate from them and have a new start in clg.. Edit : Exams are over, and we all three are on different paths now.. :)

My trio: -u have to always sit alone becoz they both have to sit together -In library they will sit together and leave u -When the bell rings for lunch one of them will go in another class and wait for the other person and no one will come to your class... no one will wait for u - During lunch they both will leave u in the group and join their Senior friends - After also going behind them, they will ignore u and continue talking - while going back to class, on the staircase they will stand ahead or behind of u and u will be left alone - on the staircase they might have been chatting about a new topic and continue it till reaching their class and yes again u have to go to your class because they can't explain what's happening and what they are talking about... -After the school they come before u and start discussing about their day and What happened in the class and when u will ask them what happened they will tell u to shut up -we talk little bit before leaving and when they talk you listen but when u talk they don't listen - you always try to fit in... but u can't really And that's the problem and red flag of trios Edit- I think the biggest mistake I have done is to enter a duo and be the trio but hear me out guys trios really don't work and even after 5 years I have been the last priority for everyone... so think before
