I feel like the one at the very start of act three (#13) should be WAY higher. Not only do you only have 4 hp the game also switches you to hunter’s crest and unequips all of your tools beforehand so you can’t even cheese it. It’s the scariest part of steel soul only rivaled by lost lace. I’d put it at #3 bc those underworks enemies are also like difficult enemies even without the black thread

I think I can safely say that after Coral Tower I owe High Halls an apology
I feel like the best way to distinguish if something should count as a "gauntlet" is if enemies drop shell shards and/or rosaries when you defeat them. If they have drops, not a real gauntlet. If they give you nothing except at the very end, gauntlet.

It's kinda funny how the coral tower gauntlet mentally prepares you for an absolute stonker of a final boss fight and then Trust Fund Khann shows up at the end and starts directing coral traffic.
I just wish gauntlet enemies dropped shell shards, so that it feels more worth using tools when struggling without the prospect of needing to farm.
