I was Teacher's girl. This my story. The scene where the teacher hands him his phone to call his mother, made me cry. I would be dead without my teacher. Right now, I don't have to teach but I volunteer classes so I can give back a little. My life is beautiful and it's because of my teacher, Mrs Onwujuba. Thank you for this story.
I haven’t even finished watching this movie and am so sad😭😭😭😭😭 I have a son and the father left me while I was pregnant. I took care of my baby, did hard jobs just to make sure he’s very comfortable. When I go for immunization they think am my baby’s nanny cos I looked like a mess.😭😭😭😭😭 I had to come to Lagos cos kaduna wasnt having so many opportunities. Since I came to lagos I’ve been working and honestly God has been faithful. My son is my life. My son is everything to me. Even if I don’t ever get married, I’m happy for the gift of my son. Thank you Jesus Thank you Aunty Biodun Stephen When am off work I will definitely let my son watch this. He will be 14 years old this month 30th
Where is madam B getting these awesome child actors from? The young Romade is very good

This movie touched me deeply. It made me reflect on myself as a single mother and realize that sometimes pain can make us act in ways we never intended. Watching this opened my eyes to how much love, patience, and gentleness my daughter truly deserves from me, regardless of what life has brought my way. I am choosing healing, growth, and love moving forward. My daughter deserves the very best version of me, and I’m willing to give her that with all my heart. Thank you for such a powerful and emotional movie. Truly one of the most meaningful stories I’ve watched.
My mum has a girl who she cared for from jss2 when her parents abandoned her after they divorced. She lived with my parent from Jss2 till she got into university, her uncle paid her school fees in University but my parents catered for every other thing. Today she's a graduate and working, she still spends ALL her holidays, annual leave with my parent. She's like the baby of the house right now cos she's 7years younger than our last born.
As a single mom, I don't hesitate to show off or mention my superstar in every conversation, i had him between life and death and I can't imagine denying him love, this movie is such an encouragement and eye opener. Children don't beg to be born, regardless of the situation, they should be loved.
1:10:42 When my mother died her younger sister took us in and refused to send us to away to grandparents in another city as instructed by her husband. She taking us in is one of the main reasons her marriage fell apart. She never abandoned us and made sure we all excelled. My heart breaks everyday because she died before she could really enjoy the fruits of her labour and sacrifices for us. May her soul rest in peace
11:47 I love the twist,❤ we are used to mothers calling pastors to pray for their daughters, but a dad calling a pastor to pray for his son, that's a first ❤😂
46:47 the way the teacher calls them with good titles is so refreshing. Those words will never leave their hearts
I'm so happy that he didn't accept his mum back. This is a wonderful piece of work.
Teacher made a huge sacrifice for Romade! May we be able to give selflessly to strangers who need help around us ❤
"The problem is not man or woman. A hurt person who has not worked on his or herself, tend to hurt other people. We all hurt at different degrees but we must heal otherwise, we pass the pain on" 👌🙏. Thank you again and again for this deep and very inspiring movie🎉 Let me also add, the cast are so wonderful. The young yomade deserve 🎉🎉🎉🎉
To be honest aunty biodun is not getting the amount of likes and views she deserves....let's give her, her flowers 💐🌹 biko
I bless the day you chose to be storyteller! Such a beautiful story. And the closing speech of Mr Akande >>>, the jollof rice analogy was on point. Thank youuuuuu, Aunty B
I genuinely shed a tear 😢 at the scene where he called his mother and she dropped the call after hearing his voice and the scene where it was his vacation day and they kept calling the boys one after the other I was a boarder and I know the feeling when nobody comes for you I mean I felt it 😢
What really stood out to me was how this movie tackled the subject of mother wounds, abandonment, and neglect. These are issues we often underestimate, yet they shape people in profound ways. Once again, Biodun Stephens brings to our screens a story that is not only entertaining but deeply thought-provoking and necessary in shifting culture! This movie is honestly a must-watch for every parent. Sometimes, without even realizing it, we pass down the pain, trauma, and brokenness we ourselves endured onto the innocent children God has entrusted into our care. That message hit deeply. And wow… that teacher? Truly an angel sent. The role that character played in the story was so touching and meaningful. When he said “ My Boy” 😢😢😢😢 such an endearing sense of belonging ❤️ The script was excellent, the acting was phenomenal, and every emotion was delivered so authentically. Everything about this movie was incredibly well done. I truly salute you, Biodun Stephens , for consistently telling stories with depth, healing, and purpose. Ahhh, Omo… this one, you absolutely must watch.
As a single mother, I taught myself to be conscious of my words and actions towards my kids cos it will have effect on them.
This is a good watch.Children did not write letters to parents to be born,no child deserves your frustrations or any bitterness you have towards your partners.Do not bring forth child to be damaged.
It’s the audacity of the mother sha, no remorse
