Often it's a trade off to have things either be long lasting or perform as good as possible for a single game and it's not in spite of the other like you believe. So many things are like this. Formula F1 tires and some bikes. Dork.

Its not a "massive scam" they dont hide the fact that the gloves are different. If YOU choose to buy something designed for a different use, that isnt the company using their design against you. Its like complaining that the high performance racing tires for your Toyota will only give you a few hundred miles wear. THATS WHAT THEY ARE DESIGNED FOR.

The difference is professional with brand deals get unlimited supply of gloves. Every game is a new pair of gloves for them they even change it at half time

Renegade goalkeeping gloves are my favorite, they’re easy to clean, last a good amount of time have good grip and fit me well. Not an ad to get them but they work for me

The way to do it is to use cheap, eroded gloves for training and only use expensive ones (100-150) in game

If you are looking for a good goalkeeper brand that won’t run out that quickly, I would recommend West Coast or Titan gloves!
