Hahaha... this is exactly what happened to me after finishing my conversion and deciding to take it to the Okavango Delta (I live in Botswana 🇧🇼).... I finished my conversion in Feb 2024 and a month later I was heading off to the Okavango Delta with my then girlfriend (now wife). The first leg of the journey which we calculated would take 8hrs, took us 20hrs because 100km into the trip, the gearbox went into limp mode(mine is an M57n with a 6hp26)... I eventually found a hack for the gearbox and few hours later there was smoke and the smell of burning plastic in the dash area, a wire had shorted. 😂 In the end we went on to complete a 3500km trip, the wife ticked off a big bucket list item (a safari in the Okavango Delta)!! It's the trip that solidified out relationship and now we're hitched...🤣🤣🤣
