I am 40 yrs old and still single and very happy frankly, Do i miss a husband/partner yes but i guess i am doing fine being single and not following the societal norms, u sure are doing an amazing job with your girl and trying to get back standing tall. we all have our reasons and moments which no one except us will understand, and the most important thing to do then is to give ourself that love and respect and space that we deserve and you sure are on the right track doing that dear.
