That fact that the runner is looking right at the pitcher and can clearly see that no ball leaves his hand kinda kills the act immediately.

It was totally over exaggerated as every1 pretended they didn't have the ball while he knew something was up.

Seen this work in the championship game in Cooperstown for the last out. Like 8 years ago when I was 12 was the craziest thing ever and to see both sides of it on each team is something I’ll never forget.
