Man the potato rant ragebaited me so hard. Potato is the most diverse not bread. I am german and we have over 3000 different breads, however potato makes for the ultimate sidedish. Baked potato, oven potato, fried potato (in a pan Americans), Krokette, Mash, spanish Tortilla, the list goes on forever. Not to mention you can add it into every soup and eat it with almost all types of meat
