Voss is a good man. A solid human being. He should be celebrated instead this show is targeting his mental health
The sad thing is Carlton have no strategy. Even in the press conference for Voss leaving they had no strategies. They are just going to tank. Cripps will likely retire at the end of the season. They've been playing such a bad style of football for years under Voss but they have no new ideas.
Two things can be true: 1) Voss might not be a very good coach. 2) Carlton stacked the deck against him going into the last year of his contract.

"What's in the walls?" This is claptrap. It's content-free hocus pocus. Do better. What's in the walls at GC? What's in the walls at WC? If you go all in on a list that is mature enough to contend, and then it turns out that the cattle isn't good enough, it's hard to fix that without dropping down - and when that happens, changing the coach probably becomes inevitable. It's mechanical. We don't need Gerard's voodoo meditation on "culture" to explain it. Some of these guys are so determined to slather on extra layers of narrative and faux-profundity that they sound as though they don't understand something quite basic.
