Only a narcissist would think Max is a narcissist.
Nico is a great guy when he is not talking
I think Nico learned a new word in English ("narcist") and is using it incorrectly
He is not a narcissist. At all.
Toto not using the word narcissist should show you how wrong Nico was here
I think Nico is just confusing the words here, because on or off track Max doesn't have a Narcissistic personality. If he keeps making a mistake over and over again, he will keep doing it until he knows how to not make it ever again, that's perseverance and grit
Beautiful how Mr Wolff defends Max by explaining how he is and doesnβt come along with the narrative
Max is the farthest thing from narc
Why is Nico Rosberg talking about himself in the 3rd person referring to himself as Max, showing video's of Max?
The fact that Max doesn't bow to the party line or the court of public opinion doesn't make him a narcissist. It makes him his own authority, who says what he thinks, not what others want him to say. Refreshing in this day and age.
Jalousi can be overwhelming.
What kind of dumb take is this? Max is confident, as he should be. Calling him a narcissist is stupidity. The drivers almost all love him because he's so genuine, especially the young drivers who he has spent a lot of time helping.
Nico is just jealous period
As much as Iβve disliked max (but respected him as heβs matured)β¦he is no narcissist.
He is absolutely not a narcissist. Look up the definition. He is overconfident because he can.
Nico when he has to talk about anything other than 2016
Nah, I wouldn't say narcissist. A couple of traits, sure, like holding a grudge and disliking criticism more than average, as well as absolute confidence in his ability (warranted by the way) but lots of traits to the contrary, too. Can be quite humble, warm, reflective, recognises others contribution, helps guide the rookies like Kimi and Gabi, Mick Schumacher. Don't think he 'loves' himself or puts himself above everyone else (away from the racetrack that is). A textbook narcissist is someone you really don't want to be around, and no one in the paddock has that opinion of him. I agree with Toto - it's just supreme confidence, but more than that, he was bred to be a racing cyborg from infancy, and that's what he is on track.
βI donβt think that word means what you thinkβ - Princess Bride
Someone spent their life at the track and then started to use new words he heard.
This shows that even some F1 world champions don't understand what makes Max special. It isn't narcissism, he lives and breaths driving only and he just knows that he is the best there is with a confidence rarely seen. Think of Schummy when he said with a straight face that a super risky defense move he did at SPA is racing while Hakkinen was trying to explain he cannot do what he did. Same was with Senna, same confidence in his ability over everyone else's. This is key to reaching such heights. The fact that he did "the same thing 7 times and it finnaly worked" is because he knew from the beginning that was the result he deserves, nothing less.
