Steve is one of the smartest minds in the history of the business.
Austin wasn't a Hogan, Shawn, or HHH. He understood the meaning behind wins, losses, and aura. As the franchise, he could get others over without losing and the losses he did have truly meant something in the long run.
I remember back in the 80s, Steve Austin would finish his match in a 75-person house show and come out to watch the rest of the show with the audience. Guy paid his dues and then some.
Show seems like one of the nicest must humble dudes.
Even with Big Show not getting the W.......it made him look competitive anyway.
So it sounds like stone cold won and put him over at the same time. Smart game right there. Steve gets the win the crowd gets stunners and beers and show looks like a monster because he just took 7 stunners and kept kicking out which nobody else did.
