You've reached the end
At the elite level, everyone is fast. Technique and attention to details is crazy important.
2500 elo running be like
Just tore my ACL watching this
The leader also only digs his toes his whole foot never touches the ground but at the block.
The olympian's form is so gracious. It's like seeing a gazelle or horse take off
Plot twist. The college athlete still won.
Man this is a science
I’m sure both are fast but this is what they mean by “there’s levels to this”
Makes sense. Quick first step up to the hips to get acceleration and shorten stride time before transitioning to longer yard eating strides as you reach peak speed. Rowers do something similar where at the start they have 3-5 quarter strokes, 2-3 half strokes then full strokes as they get to speed and transition to their racing splits.
Wow, this is an impressive breakdown imo. Im not a runner but just using common sense this college athlete can improve on these areas shown and absolutely improve his time. Video and folks smart enough in their craft to break it down have improved almost everything under the sun. I enjoyed this and subbed.
That’s a hell of a difference. 1st to 2nd was quick!
my pops would’ve loved these breakdowns when I was a kid😂
I'm still in the blocks
I feel like I should have paid a lot of money to watch that break down 👏👏👏 thank you king
All in the little details and a lifetime of practice, this is the pinnacle of athletic performance and the greatest event to watch and to capture the crowd and for glory, just love watching a great race in slow mo
Bro really took 2 steps before the other dude took 1. That’s crazy
That's not just an Olympian, that's one of the greatest starters of ALL TIME!
Just fractured both ankles while watching this
This is every dream I have where I'm running.
