I watched this whole anime probably the best I've ever watched it's called: The Ancient Magus' Bride so basically Chise is a human called a Sleigh Beggy which means she can see spirits and what you just watched was her backstory basically her dad and her brother left her because they were fed up with having to fight off the creatures that kept attacking her then her mother commit suicide and she gets sold off at an auction where she becomes the bride to this this guy with a skull head and eventually Chise unlocks her magical abilities but when using them they drain her mana significantly and then we find out that her fiance is actually an anomaly it's a really good anime you should watch it
