It could be unique to Ireland, but you can get stuck in the middle of a junction when the last oncoming car runs a red light and the traffic to your right moves off without giving way to you. I honestly couldn't believe I got stuck in the middle because I didn't expect the driver to my right to not yield. I don't know why but no driving instructors on YouTube have specifically talked about issues like this. You can end up in that situation even though you've done nothing wrong. When this happened to me, after I made it to the destination, I cried because I was in the state of shock and couldn't drive for a few weeks. I think what scares learners the most is these drivers who ignore the rules of the road.

What if there's a yellow box, and you can't reverse back if you can't wait in the box unless your turning right.

Test failed in the UK you don't give way to emergency vehicles they are trained professionals to get around you.
